SECONDARY SCHOOL ADMISSIONS PROCESS
for students seeking admission into 9th Grade for September 2010

Nearly 7,000 students sat for the annual Cooperative Admissions Examination (COOP) administered on Friday, 6 November 2009 and Saturday, 14 November 2009.

Parents who wish to enroll their children as 9th graders in a Catholic secondary school for September 2010 are now asked to contact the school(s) of interest to determine the admissions testing procedure to be followed. Generally, secondary schools will administer a special edition of the COOP examination at specified times throughout the next few months.

Please be advised that application is now made directly to the school(s) of choice.

Please mark your calendars for registration for the 9th Grade, Class of 2014, on Saturday, 6 February 2010.

Over 97% of our graduates proceed to college and university level. In the last academic year our Catholic secondary schools graduated 207 Edward J. Bloustein Scholars, 4 Finalists, 6 Semi-Finalists and 135 Commended Students in the various programs of the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
