FOR: Eighth-grade students applying for Fall 2011 admission to Catholic high schools in the Archdiocese of Newark.

WHERE: At established test sites in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, and Union counties in New Jersey and Rockland County in New York.

WHEN:
Friday, 05 November 2010

TEST CONTENT:
The test is designed to measure scholastic aptitude in verbal and non-verbal abilities, and achievement in reading, mathematics, and language arts.

HOW TO APPLY:
Obtain an application and handbook from a Catholic elementary or high school. You may also write to the Cooperative Admissions Examination Office at the address below or call 1-888-921-COOP (1-888-921-2667) weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Registration also is available online at the web site: www.coopexam.org

FEE:
Examination fee of $50.00 will include scores to three high schools of your choice and a Home Report.

APPLICATION PROCESS:
Applications and fees will be processed from 1 September 2010 through 22 October 2010.
By applying early, you will have a much better chance of being assigned to a test site of your choice.
Late applicants will be assigned to the make-up test on Saturday, 13November 2010, to be given at test sites in Bergen, Hudson, and Union counties.
