I believe that it would be worth while to hear how the average everyday father, husband, dad, little league coach, etc. handles the issues of the day in inspiring his children, wife and co-workers. Can you hear the professional coach saying; C'mon guys hang in there for another few more innings, or hang in there for a few more years until the contact is up? But what about the Dad; the leader of the family? What do we tell him..?Hang in there for another 40 years? How does he do this on a day-in-day-out basis? Talk about stress.
I believe we all should take lessons from the Bible and use them to live and adapt to our every day lives to enrich people that we come in contact with. Someone should come and speak about what it means to read Malachi 3:6-18. God challenges each and every one of us. He states that if you give to Him he will give back more than you can ever imagine. Try me says.
We all need to hear from the every day man who is working at his faith. Leading by example. By faith. Jesus is not asking us to go cold turkey. But start. Read a little in the Bible. Ask a little. Try a little. I challenge each and every man to take the lead in their home, community, and workplace. Don't be afraid. Jesus is there for us.
Remember Jesus didn't come to comfort the afflicted he came to afflict the comfortable.
I used to go listen to Fr. Groeschel at Felician College. He is truly inspiring.
