RETROUVAILLE
Ministry for Troubled Marriages
RETROUVAILLE is an international
peer ministry program that attempts to provide practical assistance
and hope to couples in struggling marriages. The program is three-fold
and begins with a weekend experience. There are six followup sessions
thereafter, and couples are then offered a monthly support group
(CORE - Continuing Our Retrouvaille Experience). We believe RETROUVAILLE
can offer a definite alternative to separation or divorce for couples
wishing to heal their marriages.

Support
Groups for Parents Grieving the Death of a Child
The
needs of those who have suffered the loss of a child are special.
One of those needs is to share the pain with others who have experienced
this very difficult kind of grief. Our support groups are led by trained
facilitators - parents who have personally experienced the death of
a child. There is hope. There is help. It is possible to survive even
this loss.

Annual
Liturgy for Parents Whose Children Have Died
There is no loss like that of one's
child. Parents whose children have died will experience grief that
is harder, longer and more complicated than other bereaved people.
In an effort to offer another step in the ongoing process of healing,
the Family Life Office plans a Eucharistic Liturgy each spring
for
those whose children have died. A personal witness is offered as
the name of each child is read during the liturgy.
This
Mass will be offered at 7:30 on Friday evening, May 6, 2011 at Notre Dame
RC Church, 359 Central Avenue, North Caldwell NJ.
Pre-registration
is requested. For
registration information, please contact Janet
McCormack 973-497-4327 or email: mccormja@rcan.org
