Our Mission
We, the office for Hispanic Apostolate of the Archdiocese of Newark,
in response to the call of our Lord Jesus Christ, to share in his mission
in a spirit of service and sacrifice, seek to give witness of a Communitarian,
Evangelizing and Missionary church, promoting and stimulating
the implementation of the Archdiocesan Pastoral plan for Hispanic Ministry
and the recommendations of the Archdiocesan Synod at all levels
and in a spirit of "Pastoral de Conjunto" that will allow us
to continue developing and coordinating guidelines,
plans and pastoral goals with and in benefit of Hispanics;
together with the promotion and support of all pastoral ministers
and serving as a resource to the parishes, offices and agencies,
initiating, providing and developing ministry to and with Hispanics.

We will strive in accomplishing this for the glory of God,
in the name of Jesus our Lord and under the guidance,
gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit as with the
intercession of Mary, our Blessed Mother, Star of Evangelization
and Patroness of the Americas.
