A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated June 2 at Mount Saint Francis, Peekskill, NY, for Sister Miriam Anthony Stadler, F.M.S.C., 95, who died May 31.
In 1965, she taught at Saint John School, Fairview, and Saint Joseph the Palisades School, West New York. For six years, she was principal at Cor Jesu, one of the three grammar schools in West New York.
Sr. Miriam Anthony was assistant librarian at Holy Angels School, Little Falls, for 14 years. In 1994, she was became a staff member at Mount Saint Francis and moderator of the Adult Day Care Center.
