Nearly fifty percent of the funds raised through the Archbishop’s Annual Appeal goes to assist financially-impacted parishes and schools.

Catholic elementary and secondary schools in the Archdiocese of Newark have over 45,000 students. The Archbishop’s Annual Appeal supplements the educational budget.

Worksof mercy are being done daily throughout the 222 parishes in the Archdiocese of Newark. Many of these parishes would not be open if not for the financial assistance received through the Appeal.
