A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Dec. 3 at Saint Anne Villa, Convent Station, for Sister Margaret de Sales Sullivan, S.C., 91, who died Dec. 1.

Sr. Margaret entered the Sisters of Charity Dec. 8, 1934 and was a member for 74 years. She was an educator in New Jersey and Massachusetts. She was an educator at the following archdiocesan schools: Saint Rose of Lima School, Newark (1939-1941); and Paramus Catholic High School, Paramus, where she served as teacher/counselor (1966-1971), vice-principal (1971-1978) and principal (1978-1986).

Sr. Margaret returned to teaching at Paramus Catholic High School until 1997. In 1988, she moved to Holy Trinity Convent, Hackensack, where she resided until 2008.
