Women's Commission Offers Day of Reflection to Faithful

On Saturday, March 31, 2007, the Women's Commission of the Archdiocese of Newark will be sponsoring "In the Heart of Mary: A Day of Reflection," an annual event hoping to draw all Catholics - both women, religious and single, but men as well - to a time of introspection and fellowship.  The event, to be held at Seton Hall University from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., features keynote speaker Johnnette Benkovic, host of Eternal Word Television Network's "The Abundant Life" television program and "Women of Grace" radio program.  Mass will also be celebrated in the morning by The Most Reverend John J. Myers, Archbishop of Newark.  The cost of registration is $35 per person, with $20 per person offered for seniors, students, and religious.  A group rate is also available for $10 per person (with a group minimum of ten attendees).

Keynote speaker Johnnette S. Benkovic is Founder and President of Living His Life Abundantly International Inc., a Catholic evangelization apostolate with outreaches in television, radio, print, and internet communications. She is also Founder of Women of Grace®, a Catholic apostolate for Christian women that features a number of outreaches including conferences, curricula, study groups and more.

Ms. Benkovic is also Executive Producer of The Abundant Life (seen internationally on EWTN), a television program that discusses contemporary issues from a Catholic perspective. She is also host of Moments of Truth Live, a one hour call-in radio talk show that airs live three times a week. She is heard nationally on AM/FM stations and internationally via short wave radio.
