A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated May 29 at Saint Anne Villa, Convent Station, for Sister Alice Perpetua Tracey, S.C., 86, who died May 26.
Born in Elizabeth, she entered the Sisters of Charity on March 25, 1943 and was a member for 66 years.
Sr. Alice Perpetua taught at Holy Name of Jesus School, East Orange, and Saint Philip the Apostle School, Saddle Brook. She served as secretary in the Science Resource Center at Mother Seton Regional High School, Clark, and was the bursar at Academy of Saint Elizabeth, Convent Station. In 1982, she ministered as a teacher and pastoral associate at Nativity Parish, Midland Park, until 2004.
