A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated June 1 at Immaculate Conception Chapel at Mount Saint Mary Academy, Watchung, for Sister Mary Eloise Kays, R.S.M., 83, who died May 28.
She entered the Sisters of Mercy in 1949 and attended Georgian Court College, Lakewood, and Rider College. In 1984, she became directress of Mount Saint Mary Academy. In 2000, she began her career in guidance at Union Catholic High School, Scotch Plains.
