of Newark, "There’s no way to express my sorrow over this tragedy. The loss of promising young lives, the pain of the injured students and their families, truly is terrible. As people of Faith, however, we know God will give us the strength to come through this difficult time, if we ask Him. "I am praying for the students, the parents, the families and friends, so that they will have this strength in the days ahead. "I also want to commend the Seton Hall University staff, the firefighters, police and emergency service workers for their quick response and heroic efforts to save the lives of students and contain the damage."
