Archbishop McCarrick to Celebrate Televised Easter Mass on WWOR-TV

Most reverend Theodore E. McCarrick, Archbishop of Newark, will celebrate a special one hour televised Easter Mass on Easter Sunday, March 30. 

The mass will air on WWOR-TV, Channel 9, at noon. Viewers in the greater New York-New Jersey metropolitan area as well as the homebound and hospitalized throughout all 50 states and more than a dozen countries worldwide will also be able to view this televised liturgy on WWOR via local cable systems. 

Rev. Thomas Iwanowski, Associate Director of the Worship Office of the Archdiocese of Newark, will serve as Master of Ceremonies, and the Rev. Mr. Robert Hoatson will act as Deacon to the Archbishop. 

Music for the celebration will be provided by the choir and instrumentalists of St. Teresa of Avila, Summit, under the direction of Gregory Scime. Members of this church will also serve as the studio congregation. Readers are Frances Kelleher and Robert Corbliss. 

The Easter Mass is a public service production of WWOR-TV in cooperation with the Archdiocese of Newark.
