CYO camp opens for another summer session of fun For over 50 years, CYO Youth and Young Adult Ministries in the Archdiocese of Newark have been involved in a six-week summer camp. Archdiocesan youth ages five to 12 are invited to attend the camp at the CYO Retreat Center, 499 Belgrove Dr., Kearny, from June 26- August 4, 2000. A staff trained in the fields of camping and education runs the day camp. The staff combines learning experiences with plenty of fun to include a daily balance of games, athletic events, arts & crafts, computers, and swimming under the supervision of certified waterfront staff. The campers will also enjoy weekly trip and special guests. Special activities include a Camp Olympics, Camp Cup and a Camp Talent Show. CYO Day Camp Director Rich Donovan said, "Camp is a great experience and allows for leadership development, mentoring and more importantly, fun." As part
of the camp fee, campers are fed well-balanced meals for breakfast
