

Cathedral Concert Series to Showcase Young Talent The Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark, NJ presents the Young People's Choral Concert, Sunday May 7, 2000 at 8 p.m. Part of the 1999-2000 Cathedral Concert series, the concert will include performances from the Newark Arts High School Choirs and the Schola Cantorum and Abbey Orchestra of the Delbarton School. A stepping stone for many talented students, the Arts School is a public school dedicated to teaching performing and industrial arts to its students. Many of the school's graduates go onto performance colleges and universities, such as Berkeley School of Music and Philadelphia School of the Arts. Located in Morristown, NJ, the Delbarton School's Schola Cantorum and Abbey Orchestra is known throughout Northern New Jersey as an example of excellence in music of the classical tradition. A free-will
offering is requested at the door to help defray the cost of the
