Bishop Calls on Community for Aid For Victims of Earthquake and Tidal Wave in Peru
Bishop Paul G. Bootkoski, Administrator of the Archdiocese of Newark, has authorized an emergency voluntary collection to be taken at all Catholic parishes in the Newark Archdiocese to assist in relief services in the aftermath of the massive earthquake and tidal wave in Peru last month. The collection can be taken during Masses scheduled over the weekend of July 21-22.

Bishop Bootkoski also asked that the victims of this disaster be remembered in the General Intercessions at Mass. Anyone interested in making a donation may do so at any Catholic parish, or may send donations to:
