Mozart Concert at the Basilica

The Cathedral Concert Series will present a special concert commemorating the 250th anniversary of the birth of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart on Sunday, February 19th at 4: 00 p.m. at the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart located at 89 Ridge Street, Newark, NJ.

The performance will feature Christopher Collins Lee, violin; John Romeri, flute; Andre Tarantiles, harp, Lorraine Ernest, soprano; John Miller, organ and the Cathedral Chamber Orchestra.

Among the most important works to be performed are, the Double Concerto for Harp and Flute, the beloved 'Exultate Jubilate' and the famous 'Eine Kleine Nachtmusik.'

Christopher Lee will also give a pre-concert lecture at 3:40 p.m and he will play the violin of Leopold Mozart (Wolgang's father) during this performance.
