The We Are Living Stones Campaign is well underway! Parishioners from across the Archdiocese are joining together to pray, share fellowship, and learn more about this important initiative for our parishes and the Church of Newark. In the first Block of this Campaign, which consists of 55 of our 219 parishes, we have held 201 parish receptions. The response has been inspiring as over 4,000 families, which is equivalent to 14% of regular envelope users, have attended at least one of these gatherings.
“The attendance at the receptions has been exceptional so far,” said Mr. Michael Goodwin, the Campaign Executive Director from the professional development consulting firm that is assisting the Archdiocese with the campaign. “It has exceeded our expectations and is a strong indicator of the potential success of the campaign,” Mr. Goodwin added.
“Our Parishioners have responded with so much kindness, generosity, and love. They have contributed in a way that I could never have imagined. Interacting with them at these campaign receptions was a wonderful experience, and it opened my eyes to the amazing potential that each parish has in supporting our future improvement projects for both the parish and the Archdiocese.” - Fr. Pedro Repollet, Parochial Vicar at St. John the Baptist & Mt. Carmel Jersey City.
If we have not already, we hope to see you at your parish's Capital Campaign reception in the near future.
