On Friday, April 29, the faithful of the Archdiocese of Newark will celebrate a special Mass of Thanks and Farewell at the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark for The Most Reverend Bernard A. Hebda, whom Pope Francis appointed as the Ninth Archbishop of St. Paul and Minneapolis.
Students from Queen of Peace High School and Elementary School in North Arlington celebrated Earth Day at Holy Cross Cemetery and Mausoleum. Forty-three students planted new trees to commemorate the occasion and recited prayers to honor those interred at the cemetery.
