Holy Father: United with Christians everywhere, we pray for the needs of the universal church and of the entire human family.
Minister: For our Holy Father, John Paul II, Bishop of Rome, Successor of Peter, and Vicar of Christ; for Archbishop Theodore and all the bishops of the Church; may they preserve the unity of the Church, which has the Spirit as its origin, and peace as its binding force.

Minister: (Spanish) For Christians throughout the world, that the oneness of our faith and baptism may bring us closer unity in the one body of Christ and the one Holy Spirit.
